The Starting Line-"Best of Me" (Live)

This is probably the best video of this song played live; only saying that because I remember watching this on the Drive Thru Records DVD Vol. 2, religiously. The Starting Line was just one of the many awesome pop-punk bands to come out of the Drive Thru Record Label family (which also gave us many other greats like New Found Glory, The Early November, RX Bandits, Finched, Senses Fail, etc...just to name a few). YouTube did not exist at the time, so the fact that we were forced fed to watch whatever they put on DVD made this version all the more special cause there were no other options, even with that said though it is probably one of the better versions regardless (they wouldn't waste their money putting junk on a DVD, or maybe they would be cause that is a punk rock attitude lol). Anyways I digress, enjoy the video above and hopefully you get the feels as much as I do when you hear the crowd singing along...so awesome.

Waterparks-"Not Warriors"

Newly released music video "Not Warriors", from their latest album "Entertainment", the band Waterparks has been definitely growing on me lately. Their style is more on the poppy side of punk rock, and one cant help but admire the vocals/talent of Awsten Knight (you know the one known for his purple hair). "Not Warriors" has totally been on repeat for a bit, such a feel good song. Anyways enjoy the music video above.

New Found Glory-"Kiss Me"

Can't help but flash back to when Fat Tofu covered New Found Glory's cover of the Sixpence Non the Richer Song "Kiss Me". Although this was not a New Found Glory song, this cover was the icing on the cake at My Friends Over You. When the song started  everyone couldn't help but get excited and eventually sing along. Best part of it all was when Jordan Salinas (lead singer of The Moment You've Been Waiting For) and Ryan Tiong (drummer for The Moment You've Been Waiting For) went up and gave Brian (Fat Tofu's bass player) a nice little kiss mid performance...haha. I think Brian malfunctioned. Anyways, above is the music video. Enjoy.

New Found Glory's cover of "Kiss Me" can be found on their album "From the Screen to Your Stereo Part 2", released in 2007.

Where to even start? First off thank you to everyone who came through, packed the house, and sang your lungs out till you lost your voices (lol cause I know I did); you guys truly made the first My Friends Over You what it was with the energy you brought to the show! You guys were beyond awesome.

Thank you to all the bands (Local Deluxe, The Moment You've Been Waiting For (TMYBWF), & Fat Tofu) who killed it up on that stage and gave the audience a good freakin time. I swear hearing the bands covering the songs for the first time during sound check I was like, "ok I can die happy now", but then add in the crowd energy during the show it was a whole other level of excitement.

Thank you to Club Icon in Tumon for taking us on and providing such an awesome venue for the event. These guys were super supportive and allowed us full creative freedom of the entire event and we are more than grateful. That place was taken to max capacity.

Thank you to the food trucks (Z's Green Canteen & The Food Truck Guam) for being there and supplying the show goers with good chow. You guys were awesome and I am glad you had time to enjoy the show yourselves. Truly appreciate your presence.

Thank you to Rich Rocks from Hit Radio 100 for being a great host, Jordan Salinas may think otherwise....ayyyy just jokes.

Last but not least special thanks to IWS Guam & Strong Bow for supplying the people with awesome drinks.

To all the people who took time out to help us out during the show, we thank you!

This is something Binary Sunset definitely wants to continue and hopefully bring you another awesome show in the near future; we hope everyone had a good time. If there was anything you felt we could improve on, have any suggestions for the next show, or just want to say hi shoot us an email (binarysunset7@gmail.com or click the contact link in the menu bar)

...till then We Are Your Friends.
